As part of its advocacy, HELP represents individuals who face discrimination in housing based on their race, sex, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, familial status, age, ancestry, color, creed, height, weight, and source of income.
HELP also offers a complete complement of consulting and training services for housing providers and legal professionals.

Client Representation

HELP investigates claims of housing discrimination on behalf of individuals and organizations. We counsel clients on their rights, and create individualized action plans aimed at achieving their goals. HELP offers full mediation services and representation in administrative hearings on behalf of its clients, when available.

Training Services

HELP conducts trainings to ensure that housing providers understand their obligations under the law. The trainings are interactive, affording participants the opportunity to ask questions about their specific cases and receive analyses as to how to become compliant under the law.

Consulting Services

HELP provides a full array of consulting services to non-profit organizations and governmental agencies. Services include analysis of client intake, systemic organization of testing, partnership in how to effectively deal with opposing parties during pre-litigation phases of a complaint, and drafting Analyses of Impediments.
